Coloured chests

As I continue to dream about my south coast beach house, I am always on the lookout for all things ‘Beachy’ to decorate this fantasy house of mine.  I found this gorgeous Australian website; www.escapetoparadise.com.au which features cushions and bags all in the South Sea Isle theme.

Luxurious holidays are like a glorious heaven on earth.

They’re more than escaping the everday.  

A good holiday is like real love.

You realise you are smiling, without any original intent to do so.

The desire to be with your special person can overwhelm you and override all logic or other sense of clarity.

It’s the night before Christmas Eve and the city is buzzing with last minute shoppers, scrambling to find those Christmas gifts that they meant to get months and weeks or days ago. Everyone in mad rush before the treck home, to ensure no need to shop tomorrow on Saturday, Christmas Eve.

It’s before a busy couple of days of family, friends, gatherings, cooking, food and resting, because we will have all eaten too much. Travel to more family and friends, more eating and resting along with all the giving and receiving of gifts.

I love this time year.  It's a time to reflect and learn. Then plan and look forward to the next year.

I have six Christmas pictures which I feel are a lovely fresh feel for a Christmas day in the northern hemisphere, where I can only dream about having a white Christmas.  One day maybe.

I just love these floor-to-ceiling glass doors, opening directly to the outdoors. 

The light fixture is by Kevin Reilly, and the antique wing chairs by Philippe Hurel, are upholstered in Bennison fabric. The gorgeous pink and white chairs were featured in Elle Decor.
